Sonic the Comic
Sonic the Comic had a hugely successful launch, the first issue selling over 400,000 copies. Mark contributed to the launch issue and then spent a further two years writing strips for the comic, appearing in virtually every issue.
He created strips based on computer games such as Golden Axe and Wonder Boy as well as Zonerunner which was spun off from Sonic the Hedgehog games.
Mark also created the characters Cam n' Bert who battled on Sonic the Hedgehog's home planet of Moebius.
