Mobile Phone
Rebellion set up a Mobile Phone division in 2002 with Mark heading up the new development team, both producing and designing games for Orange.
Star Runner - Massively multiplayer (up to 500 simultaneous players) space trading and combat in a persistent world. In addition to trading and combat mechanisms the game also features a Clan system for facilitating social gameplay.
Judge Dredd Cityquake - Team Combat Version. Two eight person teams, Judges and Perps (criminals), fight it out with first person shooter combat in a 3D city. Features a host of non-player AI characters.
A new Cityquake game is in development, extending the gameplay into new areas.
With all of these games the underlying game engine running on the server is producing a rich gaming experience. Because the games are designed to run on WAP phones they feel rather turn based, but the games are actually running in real time so there is a sense of urgency to them, a feeling of plugging into live, persistent worlds.
